Crescent Head NSW

I had a version of this image in mind for several months, I hoped I would be lucky enough to fulfill that vision when holidaying at Crescent Head late in  2014.

One afternoon a small storm cell drifted over and quickly passed and although the original image vision didn't include a stormy sky like this one the opportunity to shoot right behind the storm as it began to break up was much too good to miss out on.

With umbrella in hand and the storm still rumbling in the distance I walked from our accommodation and set up my camera just in time to capture the light as it began to break through the storm clouds.
